HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY
synagogue | sprgfd, mo | spring 2015
Among values, principals, and a hybrid of influences, Judaism’s longevity and devotion has sculpted and defined the congregation’s identity. The Jewish sanctuary is where the conglomeration of worship, community and service meet. The undulating, building spine form is a celebration of knowledge resembling a fluid, yet continuous and sturdy journey where both congregation and community support one another. Program and spatial arrangements facilitate community support and offer a sense of fluidity and cohesion among those experiencing the grounded walls and lofty ceilings that define the building form.
